And then the engine

After the body was taken care of, it was time for the engine. In itself not a difficult job, but the desire was to give it a little more punch. We built an Airhouse special: 1641cc and a rebuilt larger carburetor. The eye wants something too, and we bolted a stainless steel exhaust underneath.
